From Terrace Glass to Arrival Landscaping, Construction Progresses Toward Completion
With each new layer of finish, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Sarasota Bay is revealing more of its architectural character along the waterfront. Exterior work is advancing, terrace glass now extends to the top of the building, and landscaping has begun to define the arrival along Quay Commons as construction moves toward delivery later this year.
Inside, major interior work has been completed in residences on the lower and middle floors, with punch-out work underway on the lower levels. Interior construction continues in the residences on the upper floors. Attention is also turning to the common areas, amenity spaces and lifestyle components that will complete the property.
The Architecture Nears Its Finished Expression
Across the exterior, painting and final detailing are underway. The rear elevation is complete, with the east-facing façade scheduled for completion in the coming weeks. One of the most visible changes is the installation of glass railings across the terrace balconies through the top of the building. Their completion brings greater definition to the architecture and the expansive outdoor living spaces that distinguish the residences above Sarasota Bay.
Within the building, elevators are being brought online in stages. Several are operational, with the remaining elevators anticipated to be fully operational later this month or in early October. Fire safety and electrical systems have been installed. Moss Construction is continuing major interior work in the upper-floor residences while advancing final buildouts, luxury finish details and punch-out work in completed areas.

Progress Extends Beyond the Residences
Work continues throughout the common areas, private amenity spaces and Phase 1 of The Harbor Club, located at ground level overlooking Quay Harbor. The resident-only private club will include a waterfront Fitness Center with a Movement Studio and private training room; a Wellness Center with treatment rooms, saunas, steam rooms and hot and cold Vitality Plunge Pools; a Sports Lounge with a swing-sports simulator; and access to kayaks, paddleboards and bicycles for recreation around the marina, Sarasota Bay and The Quay.
Preparations for resident services are advancing alongside construction. The Ritz-Carlton operations team continues to prepare to welcome residents, with food-and-beverage service planned to begin on a limited basis and expand over time.
The Arrival Comes Into View
At ground level, landscaping installation has begun at the elevated porte-cochère adjacent to Quay Commons, adding another visible layer to the property’s progression toward completion.
From the terrace glass above Sarasota Bay to the arrival experience along Quay Commons, construction progress reveals a property increasingly defined by its final architecture, finishes and waterfront setting.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Sarasota Bay presents a limited collection of expansive waterfront residences, grand residences and penthouses, with three to four bedrooms and interiors ranging from approximately 3,500 to almost 5,000 square feet. Each is complemented by generous outdoor living spaces, panoramic views and legendary Ritz-Carlton service.
Now 65% sold, the property remains on track for delivery later this year. A limited selection of prime residences remains available for move-in this season, with pricing beginning at $4.1 million.
